Once again Ferrara is ready to celebrate New Year's Eve in Piazza Castello A show that culminates with the spectacular burning of the Castle: a stunning firework display to welcome in the New Year with one of the most original ways ever!

Probably shouldn't be a Ferrarese saying this, but New Year's Eve in Ferrara definitely has an edge! Have you heard about the history of this event?

New Year' Eve has existed ever since man began to scan and measure time. However, New Year's Eve in Ferrara, as we understand it today, began just over twenty years ago with the arrival of the new millennium. The idea was to combine an all-Italian excellence, fireworks displays, on the model of the Loire chateau pyrotechnic fires to give the city an unforgettable spectacle.

Ever since then, in Ferrara, the New Year has been received with one of the most evocative firework shows. After a stop in 2021, this year it returns to Piazza Castello in a context of celebration and music, for an evening full of magic!

A show that has left citizens from all over the world breathless and has been included in Vanity Fair's ranking of the 10 best New Year's Eve celebrations.

This year, 'Aspettando Capodanno con Radio Bruno' (Waiting for New Year's Eve with Radio Bruno) will be the opening dance under the Castle: vocalist Paolo Zampino will be the party's soul, and the live music will be played by Deja Vu! One of the best-known cover bands in Italy. They will warm you up in record time with the most current pop hits without excluding classics of both Italian music and dance music: a dynamic and captivating show for all styles and ages!

At midnight, the evocative fireworks display of the Castle Fire kicks off: an awesome experience that we are sure that you' ll never forget! A thousand fireworks set off with music will make the Castle and the sky glow, taking your breath away!

What's next?  Dancing with DJ Lopez's hits!
