But how can you find out where to eat true Ferrara specialities? An initiative has recently been launched to help you precisely in this challenge! Thanks to the efforts of the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori (Wine and Food Trail), the 'Ristorante Tipico' (typical restaurant) label has been created, a simple way to identify restaurants with a menu in keeping with our tradition!
The initiative, in addition to constituting an aid for those of you who wish to eat our typical cuisine, wants to create the basis for a vademecum in which the parameters of typicality can be drawn up, thus encouraging a correct dissemination of the local culinary and wine culture.
How to identify a 'typical restaurant'? Simple: thanks to the window sticker on the entrance door.
This recognition was put in place by the administration so that everyone can easily see where they can satisfy their curiosity about the local tradition.
For now, you will find under this new sign Bisboccio Ristobar, Ristorante della bocciofila La Ferrarese, Brododigò, Ristorante Molto più che Centrale, Antica Trattoria da Max, Cusina e Butega, Birreria Giori, Tiffany Ristorantino, Trattoria La Romantica, Locanda 22, Osteria degli Adelardi, Cucina Aldighieri, Ristorante Castello di Fossadalbero; Perlita Sea Food&Wine I Piaceri Di Lucrezia, Osteria Degli Angeli, Ristorante Raccano, Il giardino di Mattia, O’Bel, Trattoria La Ferrarese.
