Sunday, July 7th, 2024, promises to be an unforgettable day for music lovers: the River Darsena will become the stage for a series of live performances by international artists. A unique event where a passion for music will create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

Comfort Festival

The Comfort Festival stands out for its commitment to promoting the psychophysical well-being of its audience, rather than chasing large crowd numbers. Launched in 2021, the festival was born from a simple idea by Claudio Trotta, founder of Barley Arts: to create an event in a beautiful and natural location where attendees can enjoy a day of relaxation accompanied by great music. This approach ensures a unique and relaxing experience, emphasizing the quality of time spent.

Comfort Festival - performers 2024

On Sunday, July 7, 2024, the brand-new River Darsena will host the grand return of The Gaslight Anthem. After a hiatus of 9 years, the band will perform at an exclusive Italian date, presenting their latest album, "History Books" (2023). The stage will also feature the acclaimed Gary Clark Jr., known for his album "This Land" (2019) and a multiple Grammy Award winner.

The evening will continue with Rival Sons, the California-based blues rock band that recently released two albums, "Darkfighter" and "Lightbringer." Before them, the stage will welcome Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, a band closely linked to Bruce Springsteen and an inspiration for Jon Bon Jovi.

The festival, organized in collaboration with Slow Music ETS, will also feature The War and Treaty, a Grammy-nominated duo known for their eclectic mix of blues, gospel, soul, bluegrass, and country, who will perform their latest album "Blank Page" (2023).

Kicking off the event will be Hardwicke Circus, produced by the legendary Dave Robinson of Stiff Records, and Lovesick, the only Italian artists on the lineup.

Tickets are already available on Ticketone and Ticketmaster, but as patron Trotta rightly says, the festival is the best excuse to experience the city: stay tuned to the Inferrara channels because some experiential package is boiling in the pot!
