Oktoberfest in Ferrara: Bavarian culture comes to town
In October Ferrara is filled with joy and merriment, thanks to the arrival of autumn with its bright colours, but above all the start of Oktoberfest Ferrara: an exciting event celebrating Bavarian culture.
Inside the spacious spaces of Ferrara Fiere comes the festive atmosphere, music, cuisine and typical costumes of the famous Oktoberfest, originating in Munich, to immerse oneself in the traditions and energy of this iconic celebration.
Not only beer at the Oktoberfest, also lots of fun!
Participating in the Oktoberfest you will find various enthralling experiences for all participants: in addition to the renowned Bavarian beer, Paulaner, you will be able to enjoy delicious Bavarian cuisine: from sausages to pretzels, from meat dishes to traditional desserts.
To complete the atmosphere of the Oktoberfest Ferrara folk music, shows and colourful rides will delight young and old alike. Traditional costumes will also be shown off during the traditional symbolic opening ceremony called 'O'Zapft is' that will inaugurate the festival.
Admission to the event is free of charge, but booking is recommended in order to have priority access and a guaranteed table in the performance area, where capacity is limited.
