New Year's Eve spreads all its magic at the foot of the Estense Castle. An evening in Ferrara in the historic center to give the welcome it deserves to the coming year!

New Year's Eve in Ferrara is now in its 24th edition, and its celebrations every year draw thousands of spectators among citizens and tourists. The highlight of the evening? The Burning of the Castle: an unmissable pyromusical show that every year proves to be one of the most spectacular New Year's Eve events in all of Italy.

Dances will open at 10 p.m. with a sparkling DJset that will accompany you as you take your seats in the picturesque castle square as you wait for midnight.

After the pyromusical show will follow the nostalgic evening I want to go back to the 90s that will have us dancing to the rhythm of the most popular hits of that decade!

Starting 2024 off on the right foot

What better way to start 2024 in Ferrara than with the traditional New Year's Concert at the Teatro Comunale? A concert to celebrate in style with the Gino Neri Plectrum Orchestra, a highly anticipated occasion for all Ferrara residents that will feature performances of pieces that have always belonged to the New Year's Eve tradition.
