Noctis Domini - The Lords of the Night

19-20 October 2024 - Ferrara, Historical Centre, Piazza Trento Trieste

Noctis Domini returns to Ferrara for its eighth edition on October 19 and 20, 2024, transforming the city into a captivating gothic and steampunk setting. This costumed event annually draws hundreds of enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad, including participants from Switzerland, France, and Austria.

This year's program is enriched with new activities, starting with the grand evening procession on Saturday, accompanied by the internationally renowned Daridel Pagan Folk. The event will feature unique performances, such as fire and LED shows, and musical acts including violinist Katija Di Giulio and the duo Busking The Blues.

New additions include a LARP (Live Action Role-Playing) session with the Omnia Larp association, a gothic picnic at Parco Massari, and the option for special makeup effects by Andrea Benocci SFX for a stunning look. As usual, artisan stalls will line Piazza Trento Trieste.

Monsterland Halloween Festival

31 October, 1-2 November 2024 - Ferrara Fiere e Congressi - Via della Fiera 11

Get ready to experience Italy's biggest and most spectacular Halloween at the Monsterland Halloween Festival! This year, the event expands to three days of celebration across two venues, starting on October 31 at Ferrara Expo, transformed with twelve indoor and outdoor stages. Top artists like Geolier, Rose Villain, Tedua, and DJs 999999999, Ilario Alicante, and Marco Faraone will electrify the atmosphere from rap to techno. Stay tuned for the announcement of another major artist on October 5th!

With over 60,000 attendees expected from Italy and abroad, Monsterland 2024 is set to make Ferrara a focal point of international music, boosting the local economy and music tourism. New features include an outdoor motocross track for breathtaking freestyle shows and a wrestling ring in Pavilion 4. A living cemetery will greet guests at the entrance, while thrilling rides promise heart-pounding excitement.

On November 1st, “Monsterland in the Castle” will enhance the Estense Castle with a courtyard DJ set and an exclusive dinner in the boat docks, featuring music from DJ Ralf, Ruben Mandolini, and Wide Music. The festival concludes on November 2nd with “Monsterland: el Día de los Muertos” at Ferrara Expo, showcasing artists like Amelie Lens, Giorgia Angiuli, and Reinier Zonneveld across five thematic stages.

On November 1st, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Estense Castle transforms into an enchanted realm with "Trick or Treat," a magical experience for children and families. Organized by Feshion Eventi, the event features interactive paths, treasure hunts, baby dances, workshops, and costume parades, all designed for safe and fun engagement.

Simultaneously, from October 31st to November 3rd, the vibrant heart of Ferrara, between Piazza Municipale and Piazza Trento e Trieste, will host the Ferrara Food Festival: a journey through the flavors of the region with tastings, cooking shows, and dishes that celebrate local culinary traditions. A weekend for all the senses that enhances the festive Halloween atmosphere, making Ferrara a must-visit destination for the fall holidays.
